Em Aberto is celebrating 40 years. In order to exalt the journal’s important role as a space dedicated to diversity and the plurality of ideas, this issue focuses on educational policies during this period. Thus, the journal continues to consolidate its presence in the debate of points of view and approaches to educational themes by providing an overview of educational policies, focusing on recurring topics in the journal that are still under debate today.
