Doutora em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), é docente no curso de Pedagogia e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da UFRGS. É bolsista de produtividade em pesquisa do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq).

Doutor em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), é professor e pesquisador da Faculdade de Educação e do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (PPGEDU/UFRGS) na Linha de Pesquisa dos Estudos sobre Infâncias. Também atua como líder do Grupo de Pesquisa em Currículo, Linguagens e Cotidianos de Bebês e Crianças Pequenas (Clique/CNPq/UFRGS).
