As Favorite learning tools of the Generation Z enrolled in the Administration technical course of a Federal Institute: the context of the discipline of Logistics
Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the perception of young people, Generation Z future labor-market entrants, over the discipline of logistics and the learning tools used by them. Studies were carried out in scientific articles that encompassed Generation Z and the labor market; the discipline of logistics in the school environment; and studies on learning tools. A previous questionnaire was used to conduct the research with students from the Administration technical course of a Federal Institute regarding the discipline of logistics. Through a data analysis from 278 students who responded to the survey, it was observed a great expectation of Generation Z in using technological tools in their teaching-learning process, and attending technical visits to bring closer theory and practice in the labor market. Therefore, it was inferred that the effective entry of Generation Z students into the labor market can be connected to more practical learning in the classroom and to the specific skills and competences of this generational group.
