Abstract

Divulga os resultados do trabalho realizado pela Secretaria de Educação do Município de Camaragibe (PE), no sentido de diagnosticar o perfil educacional do município, buscando subsidiar políticas públicas para a educação, a partir de uma intervenção mais qualificada. Apresenta os resultados do Censo Educacional realizado com o apoio do Fundo das Nações Unidas para a Infância (Unicef), no ano de 1997. Palavras-chave: avaliação educacional; educação municipal. Abstract The central goal of this article is to present the results of the work carried out by the Camaragibe's Office for Education, in order to diagnose the educational profile of this municipality. It also tries to provide educational public politics from the point of view of a more qualified intervention. In conclusion, the article brings upon the results of the educational census carried out by Unicef in 1997. Keywords: evaluation of education; city education.
